Local Attractions
Staying in Silverton and riding the Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is an event not to be missed...the old west...the way it was when Bat Masterson was here and Butch and Sundance were robbing banks just down the road. The streets are still unpaved! Of course, the hiking and jeeping in these mountains can't be beat either! And don't miss our festivals...folk music, Brass Band, Barbershop Quartets.
