Accommodations
The Windham Hill Inn features 22 guest rooms; each individually designed, decorated and furnished with antiques and locally crafted furniture. All rooms are equipped with their own private baths, some of which have jetted spa or soaking tubs. Most rooms are fitted with queen or king size beds. Many rooms have private porches or window seats and fifteen of the rooms feature fireplaces. While each room has its own unique style and character, the views from all locations on the property are equally as scenic. Our three Loft Suites are our most spacious and luxurious rooms at the inn, located on the third floor in the White Barn building. They are fitted with king size beds, comfortable seating areas and all feature gas fireplaces. The loft suites all have their own individual décor and have been decorated to showcase each rooms distinguishing features. From peaceful views on private decks to enchanting rough beam ceilings, you are bound to have a relaxing stay.
Rates include a full three-course gourmet breakfast and afternoon sweets with complimentary hot and seasonal beverages throughout the day.
Breakfast
Be awakened by aromas of baking muffins and freshly ground coffee as you watch the mist rolling out over the Frog Pond through the wraparound windows of our dining room while savoring your first cup of coffee. A full three course gourmet breakfast is served in our restaurant each morning from 8am to 10am. Choose from homemade muffins, scones, homemade granola, Vermont made yogurt, waffles, fresh fruits, juices and smoothies, savory egg dishes or sweet country entrées and more. Champagne breakfasts or room service can be arranged on request.

Acclaimed as one of Southern Vermont’s finest restaurants, The Windham Hill Inn has earned a well-deserved reputation for its eclectic menus with creative flourishes. Guests can choose between our delicious a la carte menu with premium appetizers, fresh salads and savory entrees or, for the ultimate splurge, try our signature, six-course tasting menu,where each course is paired with the finest selection of wine.
A full bar is available, serving an extensive drinks menu with monthly specials, a wide range of international wines, dessert wines, champagnes and sparkling wines by the bottle or glass. In addition, we also offer a comprehensive selection of ports, liquors and spirits.
Windham Hill Inn has been awarded Four Diamonds from AAA for the inn and restaurant and is a Wine Spectator “Best of Award of Excellence” recipient and regularly arranges dining events such as the sell-out Wine Series dinners.
Local Attractions
Shopping, dining, culture and arts are just 30 minutes away in Manchester. Alpine skiing is 20 minutes away at Stratton, Mount Snow or Bromley Mountains. Golf, horseback riding and canoeing are also nearby. Explore quaint villages and pristine Vermont countryside on one of many day trips.
The Inn offers an elegant, romantic site for weddings and civil unions up to 50 people and a professional, 1000 square foot private conference center.
Of Special Interest
With an abundance of activities here on site guests will can be as active as they choose. In winter time guests may borrow our snow shoes and explore our 160 acres in all their winter glory or bring their own cross country skis for some challenging back country skiing on our trails. Sign up for a cooking class with one of our experienced Chefs, who will share their recipe secrets with you. Sit in front of a wood fire and enjoy one of our many board games or puzzles with your favorite hot beverage. Schedule a wine demonstration featuring domestic and international vineyards sure to please any connoisseur of fine wines.
In summer, ask our gardener or the Chef to give you a tour of our lovely gardens and explore what is being grown for your dining enjoyment. Take advantage of our clay tennis court and heated swimming pool or arrange for a private yoga class. Choose any of our hiking trails from a casual walk thru the meadow to something a little more challenging that takes you thru the forest and ends at a private pool and waterfall. Picnic lunches are available upon request to take on our trails or off site should you choose to explore further.
