The Roosevelt Inn, located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, was built in 1905 and is part of the National Register of Historic Places. Originally a school house, the inn was remodeled in 1994 into a bed and breakfast. It was named after the 26th president, Theodore Roosevelt. Our theme throughout the building is the rose to celebrate the name Roosevelt, which means "Rose field" in Dutch. The beautiful red brick building with its steeple, shaded by maple trees, offers traditional elegance with modern comforts and warm hospitality. Two antique furnished parlors and dining area feature several lovely lead glass windows, and a hand painted mural welcomes you on the main floor. In addition, a winding rose mural runs up the wall along the original school staircase.
