Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains since 1917, the 1906 Pine Crest Inn & Restaurant is in the heart of North Carolina's Hunt Country. Once a favorite of F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway, the Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Accommodations
Designed as a traditional English-style inn, the Pine Crest Inn features an interior furnished in a a quaint style with stone fireplaces, wooden floors and oriental rugs. The rooms and common areas create a "home away from home" ambience, with books to read beside the fire, games to play, and areas for guests to commune. The choice of accommodation is delightfully varied from near-rustic log cabins to posh modern suites that feature sitting areas with elegantly uphoulstered furniture. There is a room for every taste, whether it be for hand-made country quilts or hand-stitched European comforters. All rooms feature king or queen-size beds.
Breakfast
The Pine Crest Inn is renowned for its excellent cuisine, and a hearty breakfast is the highlight of every morning. The menu varies throughout the year to feature the freshest local ingrediants available. A typical morning permits the choice of at least six options, including blueberry muffins, Belgian waffles, eggs Benedict, country ham and eggs, and the inn's highly regarded apple fritters, which always get rave reviews from guests.

Pine Crest Inn serves new American cuisine with emphasis on fresh regional ingredients in a charming English tavern setting. The restaurant serves a full breakfast seven days a week and gourmet dinners Monday through Saturday. The restaurant carries the prestigious AAA Four-Diamond Award, just as the inn does. Your dining experience will be enhanced by the inn's full beverage service and its Wine Spectator award-winning wine list served from the charming Fox and Hounds Bar.
