Choose the romance of a Victorian Inn room, or perhaps you would prefer the privacy of one of our charming cottage suites which surround the grounds. Relax and rejuvenate while you cuddle up in front of a cozy fireplace, or relax in a double whirlpool tub. Some of our more spacious cottage accommodations are ideally appointed for guests requiring two beds, or families traveling with children, complete with small kitchens. All accommodations have TV/VCR and offer air-conditioned comfort. New this season is wireless internet access for guests traveling with their laptops!

A full New England breakfast is served in our sunny dining room or on our wrap-around porch in the summer. Daily hot entrees are ¿chef¿s choice¿ and include tasty dishes such as Almond Crusted French Toast and Spinach Tomato Quiche. A home baked breakfast bread such as Cranberry Orange Scones or Maine Blueberry Muffins always accompany the daily hot entree. In addition, we serve a fresh fruit course such as Strawberry Yogurt Parfait or Hot New England Apple Crisp. Guests staying in our cottage suites may even choose to have a full hot breakfast basket delivered to their door!

Kennebunkport offers a variety of restaurant choices from lobster shacks to five star dining, many of which you can walk to from the Maine Stay. Gaze out onto the ocean as you can enjoy an intimate dinner for two with a glass of wine. Or sit outside, at one of the local chowder houses or clam shacks, as you breathe in the salty Maine air and listen to the bells of the harbor. Wherever you go,you can order great Maine lobster!

Whale Watching is a very popular activity in Kennebunkport from late May to early October. Our guests can take a 5 minute walk from the inn to the First Chance Whale Watch Boat docked in Dock Square. The 4 - 4 1/2 hour trip takes you to the seasonal feeding grounds of Jeffrey's Ledge. Species which are often sighted along the Maine Coast include Humpbacks, Finbacks, Minkes, and Atlantic white sided dolphins.
