Fox Creek Inn, noted for its warm ambiance, fine dining and inviting guest rooms, is nestled on six and one half wooded acres along a bubbling trout stream in the Green Mountains of Vermont. We are remote yet only ten minutes west of Killington and 45 minutes from Woodstock. When you come to Fox Creek you will get a chance to relax and enjoy life as it should be enjoyed, at a slower pace. You will find the time to rekindle your relationship with life. We offer you more than a place to rest and to dine. We offer you an experiences that make wonderful memories.

All of our rooms have private baths. Most have spa tubs, some have fireplaces, and all have some of the fluffiest towels you have ever seen.

Breakfast is an important part of your stay at Fox Creek. The day begins with freshly brewed coffee, tea or decaf, along with a selection of juices, fruits, yogurts, cereals, and homemade sweet breads. All of this is just a warm-up. Next comes a hot entrée such as fluffy Blueberry Pancakes, Maple Belgian Waffles, or our special Cinnamon Swirl French Toast served with Vermont sausage or crisp bacon. You would be challenged to be able to eat again until it is time for dinner.

Dinner is by reservation and we offer a table d'hote menu.which will include appetizers, salad, main entrees and deserts. Here you will find excellence in dining using only the freshest ingredients. We have a full bar and a wine cellar that offers wine to suit most palates and budgets. Served by candlelight with a little Mozart in the background, you will be treated to a dining experience, not just a meal.

Here in Chittenden you will find more to do than you have time to do it. In Summer you can hike or bike on miles of trails and back roads. There are horses to ride, golf balls to hit (or miss), antiques to be browsed (or bought), and museums to be visited. The area has many lakes and small villages to spend your days finding the true Vermont. A trout stream ("Fox Creek"), runs right through our property. You may want to spend a few hours testing your casting abilities from our bridge. In Winter there is down-hill skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating, and tubing at nearby Killington, along with miles and miles of Cross Country Ski trails. In addition, Fox Creek has several pair of snowshoes you can try right from our back door.
